The following sections explain our policies to gather your data as a registered member of the JUSTORI or JUSTELL application, user of the JUSVISTA SaaS platform and/or as visitor to our website.

Privacy Policy of JUSTORI, JUSTELL and JUSVISTA

  • We collect information that is shared with us or posted or uploaded by our registered users.
  • We collect information relating to use of our Service by our users, services we offer through our partners as well as device and browser information of our users.
  • We may use cookies and other technologies to collect such information.
  • Information we collect is used to operate and improve the Services and develop new services.
  • The information may also be used to provide our users with personalized information and targeted advertisements.
  • We may share the information collected with our affiliates or business partners.
  • Information about users making reviews of or making queries or requests to our Jusvista members will be shared with that Jusvista member.
  • Should our users have any privacy related complaint, they may address their complaints to dpo@justori.com.  
  • We may revise the privacy policy from time to time and the updated privacy policy will be available on our website www.justori.com
  • We may also share information collected to any third party where we are required to do so by any applicable law.

Information We Collect and Why

  • We allow our users to either record their stories directly using the features of the device or upload stories from the cloud directories belonging to the users.
  • Stories are saved in our servers and accessed over the internet for listening.
  • We collect the identity of your device such that your stories cannot be accessed by unauthorized users and tampered with so long you make us aware of your lost or stolen device.
  • We collect information about the device to provide our users with the best-fit design for your device and the most efficient use of the operating system of the device
  • To provide you with the most appropriate content, we collect information about your age, gender and location. We also seek access to your device camera and gallery such that you can post images for the cover pages of the stories and other images relevant to your stories and make your profile picture.
  • When you are recording, for the best use of your bandwidth and in case of any undue interruptions which may lead to loss of your recording, we save the story first in your device. We need to thus find space in your storage. Once your story is transferred to our server, we clear up the space we used.
  • A good quality recording with minimal effort requires several preparations. By taking care of various audio and display settings we ensure that your phone is on silent mode (you can still pause your recording and take your call) and the screen doesn’t go to sleep thus ensuring that you have full control over your recording screen at all time without interruptions.

Cookies Policy

JUSTORI uses cookies and browser’s local storage to store information about visitors’ preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize our web page content based upon visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

Advertising

We may use cookies to enable advertising with our third-party Partners, which in turn allows us to provide our services free of charge.

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on JUSTORI.
  • Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our site’s visitors based upon their visit to JUSTORI and other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at the following URL – http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html
Our Advertising Partner(s)

The third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on JUSTORI and which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by our site’s third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on the site.

JUSTORI has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Analytics

We use cookies to compile usage activity in order to better cater our Products and Services offerings to you, and to third parties. Unless specifically permitted, we do not share identifiable “raw” data with our clients or any third parties, however we do make high-level decisions based on aggregated data about your usage of our Products and Services.

These cookies:

  • Monitor site traffic and behavior flows of users
  • Measure the effectiveness of Application and Platform
  • Measure the effectiveness of off-site marketing campaigns and tactics

GDPR Addendum

European Union regulation aims primarily to give control to its citizens and residents over their personal data. We agree with this philosophy and we have been since our inception transparent about what data we collect and why we collect. In fact, we collect very minimal personal information and that too mostly optionally.

Our Privacy Policy as above clearly states why we collect any personal information. We have now created a dedicated position to deal with all data and privacy related matters and can be reached at dpo@justori.com. Indeed, we shall keep you updated if any changes are made to our privacy policy in the future.

Here we highlight what we do with your personal information held with us as a registered member of our applications and how you can control your personal information held with us.

What are we doing with your information

We use your personal information to make the experience better for you and for everyone. That includes doing things like:

  • Notify stories we think you’ll enjoy
  • Notify about stories that you’ve shared, rated or commented or your stories that other members have shared, rated or commented
  • Personalise parts of the JUSTORI such as the Library feeds to your taste and preferences
  • Facilitateg services requested by you from our business members or making business members aware of your reviews of their services
  • Business members may use aggregated data to improve services that they provide you

We also use it for business, regulatory and legal purposes, like:

  • Deal with any reviews, queries and requests you make or content you submit
  • Get in touch if we need to tell you about something, like a change to our policies or issues with a service. Or to tell you if your JUSTORI account hasn’t been used in a long time and to ask if you’d still like to use it
  • Identify where you are and giving you the right version of the JUSTORI for this area
  • Tailor advertising by our service providers based on how you use other sites from your smartphone

How do you update your account details

From the main page of any of the JUSTORI modules (Library, Studio, Voice Note or Lounge) click the SETTING icon at the left top corner. JUSTELL users can do the same from User Info found at the right of the main menu located at the bottom of the screen. Jusvista Users can update information from the Admin Panel.

On the “User details” screen, you can edit all the basic information that you have provided during registration and any other information that you have voluntarily uploaded to improve your experience. Just remember to SAVE once you have made any changes.

For non-business members a valid email address is the only mandatory requirement to use the JUSTORI or JUSTELL App. JUSTORI users may also set up a secondary email address and can switch at any time to make that your primary email address.

While making reviews, queries or requests to businesses, if you have voluntarily provided any optional data such as your phone number, this may be stored by businesses in compliance with their data policies. You will not be able to remove any information (mandatory or optional) that is meant to be shared with a third party (e.g. a business member)

Jusvista users need to provide Name and Email Address of the a) authorized signatory and b) the administrator of our application and standard information about the business such as the Name of Company, Registered Business Address, Business Registration Number, Name of Parent Company (if any) etc.

Do we share your information with other organisations?

We do not generally share your information. However, in exceptional circumstances, we might share your information without your permission if we reasonably believe you might be breaking the law, for example on hate speech, and such disclosure is allowed under the relevant laws, including data protection law. Also, our advertising partners may use your information to show you adverts on JUSTORI.

If we share your data outside JUSTORI, we assure you that we will do so in a secure way consistent with our privacy policy and without allowing other companies to use it to contact you with their own marketing.

How long do we keep your information?

We will hold your personal information on JUSTORI Application as long as you are a registered member.

To unregister yourself from JUSTORI send a mail to unregister@justori.com from your registered email address(es). Except your email address and alias, all your personal information will then be removed from our server. At any point you may export stories published by you to yourself. You are well-advised to do so before you unregister as afterwards you will no longer have access to your account.

For all your prior activities within JUSTORI, your alias will continue to show as before. You will however not receive any email or notification from us or voice notes from any member whom you had been following.

If later you wish to return to JUSTORI using the same email address that you earlier used to register, you will not be allowed to directly re-register. You will have to email to dpo@justori.com requesting to reinstate your account and follow the prescribed procedure for verification and registration. Any contribution you have made prior to leaving JUSTORI, will then be reinstated to your account.
